What does a detail, entail?
Dusty’s Detailing uses specific, professional, and tested products for every surface. The engine bay (unless oil coated) and fuel area, will be degreased and plastic protectant applied. The wheels, tires, and plastic wheel wells will receive an acid wash, while the rest of the vehicle will receive a decontamination (strip) wash (High pH/alkalinity) with bug removal, hand dried with high GPM The Rag Company towels, and including a ‘spray ceramic’ wax providing months of protection. The interior consists of thorough vacuuming of all carpet and upholstery (Before and after cleaning), carpet mats power washed and shampooed, rubber mats cleaned and protected, all plastics and rubber will be cleaned/ sanitized/ and protected, leather will be boar’s hair brush cleaned and conditioned, glass/ screen/ and gauge cluster cleaned, a layer of fabric protectant, odour neutralizer, air freshened, and cleaned door frames.
What’s the difference between ‘standard’ and ‘complete’?
Shampoo! Shampooing consists of a thorough vacuum, carpet extracting shampoo, agitated with a drill brush, then steam extracted (vacuumed) and rinsed to ensure no dirt remains, and odour causing bacteria is eliminated. Shampooing applies to all carpets and upholstery, with the exception of the headliner.
*Headliners are installed with an adhesive that moisture will deteriorate, so only light cleaning on headliners will be performed*
